Hello Everybody,I hope everyone is doing as well as can be expected.I am about to make the boldest post on this website. If this is upsetting to you, please forgive me. However, my only intention is to try to help everyone. A short while ago, I read the latest research medical paper on the possible cause of LPHS. Even though, I am not a medical doctor I believe that this document is the leading theory and if they are correct, no human can repair the damage and stop what is causing the pain. However, it is not hopeless. After visting the following website, please discuss the possiblity of this treament with your pain management specialist. The website to visit iswww.controlyourpain.comGood Luck to all and I welcome everyones response.May God Bless us all.Sincerely, carnivalman

Thanks for this update Frank.

I have looked at the site and in my opinion this is good step forward, but with the proviso, that it may not suit everyone.
It is not the same as a TENS machine (of which this seems to be a 'big brother') because of its need to be surgically implanted and from the study attached to the advert, some patients had problems with the electrodes moving away from the site area, which would mean a repeat operation.
I also see problems for UK patients trying to get this through the NHS unless it is approved by NICE.
The EU CE logo is common to all electrical appliances showing that it has passed their guidelines for safety compliance and is not a medical endorsement of the product.

If you feel comfortable using it then try it. The system may be of help to your wife, every person is different in what suits them.

John
