Hey LPHS friends,I would like to ask if anybody has heard of the following. I have read every paper that was written about LPHS and have seen nothing. Recently, my sister has been showing signs of the same symptoms that I have. Her doctor has suggested that it may be LPHS. My pain management doctor who also sees her agrees. Has anybody heard of two siblings have LPHS and if not we are up to doing research to see if it is a genetic issue. My sister is only 4 years older than me and I feel because of my long history and hers that something would have to show.CRaig

Hi Craig,
I have heard of Mother/Child cases, but not siblings.
I would not rule it out because anything is possible and I also think the genetic route is the one to take.

I spoke to a woman today who's son has LPHS and daughter has kidney problems as well. I found her phone number on web md and called her. I blieve there is a genetic link and it can run in families
