To add a Case History or Photo you need the following.

For the text just use an ordinary posting blank as you would usually.
For the picture you need to have it on a site which will allow you to publish it there, like a Yahoo Briefcase file or a site like Photobucket. Both of these sites allow you to set up file sharing accounts and in the case of Photobucket, give you the code to publish in the link to the picture.

To put a picture in a posting you will see an icon at the top of the Message panel with a globe and chain on it. Click on this and put in your picture link and it should publish afterwards like this one below.

Ok.  Thanks.  Can you let me know about the microwave treatment?  How is Chris?

Alison

PS. I don't understand about the picture.  If I emailed you one, could you use that?

PPS.  Have you ever come across anyone else who doesn't get haematuria very often but does get the pain

Hi Alison,

I often don't have haematuria, just the severe pain. However, at these times, I seem to pass a lot of debris which would account for the renal colic.

Helen

PS - I have sent you an e-mail

Hi Everyone,

I'm posting here so there is some privacy...at least you have to log in to read the posts.  I am through my divorce.  It was final November 14th.  I said in another post that my ex used some of my posts here on this forum against me--that's why I wanted some anonymity (maybe I should reregister with a different screen name?).  One in particular that caffeine makes my pain worse.  I drink caffeinated pop on ocassion to get the energy to do things but they turned it around that I was purposfully making myself worse.  I am glad it is over.  I'll get over it but I know it will take along time for our son Josh.  My parents separated when I was 12 and I remember how bad it was.  They divorced when I was 41 and it hurt even at that age.  The good news is that my husband left me for another woman.  I thought he was involved with another man so at least Josh won't be exposed to that!

How is everyone doing?  I see there haven't been too many posts.  I've been sleeping a lot, probably depression.  Could be the time of year.  Winter in Ohio can be quite ugly.  We have snow but it doesn't stay cold enough, long enough to enjoy it.  It's mainly just gray, rainy and muddy with the temp about 10 degrees above freezing.  I get tired of wiping the dog's paws when she comes in!  Yes, I do that.  She's a Dalmatian with big paws and they can hold a lot of mud!

I'm just rambling.  It's nice to know there are others who understand my struggles with this dreaded disease....even if you are only reading my post and not commenting.

Take care...

Kim
